What is regression as a tool for transformation?

on 13 May 2015

Regression is a therapy for the transformation of the subconscious mind. Although it is commonly known as a Past Life Therapy, it is also for the healing the past wounds in this lifetime. The word regression comes from being regressed back to the past, to the core of an issue and to release and transform the negative traces and effects of these past events that we don't need to carry anymore.

Every event and memory that we carry in our inner world will find its place in our external life. Our external world is only a reflection of whatever is happening inside of us. We can think of this as if looking at a mirror. As we look in the mirror to comb our hair or to do our make-up, we should look at the outside world in the same way. Otherwise, trying to change the outer circumstances people or events would be like trying to comb the mirror to fix our hair and since we won't be able to, getting angrier and blaming the mirror.

Regression is one of the most powerful and effective healing methods that we can use to find the internal programing we carry and the core of an issue that we are dealing with. It is about going on a journey deep into our inner world, into the depths of the subconscious mind and transforming a record/ memory and its effects.

Think as if you were playing a computer game in which you are collecting fruit from a tree, the fruits are orange but you desire them to be strawberries, and you may keep trying to change the fruit from your screen but if there isn't an option that allows you to do this you will not succeed the fruit will remain the same. The program coder of the game or someone who has the ability to understand software language should enter the programing and replace the orange coding to strawberries, add an option of a variety of fruits that can selected, and when this is done then you can choose whichever fruit you want when you return to play the game. That's exactly what we need to do to change the issues reflected in our lives, we need to enter our inner programing and transform it into a program in alignment with who we are and want to become.

The regression therapist will take you on this inner journey inside your own software to rewrite the programing that is no longer serving you. This program is written in the consciousness and subconscious mind. From the moment we are born, every experience that we have and the belief systems that we create from them and the emotions, pain, sadness, frustration, anger, joy are recorded, even literally stamped on our cells and DNA. Some experiences are "pivotal point" events and as a result of these experiences and the emotions felt, beliefs systems, decisions and even contracts are created. Especially such memories are revisited and re- experienced during the regression. Sometimes a forgotten memory and sometimes one that we already remember surface to the mind. Sometimes an event that seems extremely irrelevant to the issue turns out to be the source of the problem. To re-experince these moments is one of the most important parts of the healing, which is then completely transformed by various therapy techniques applied at this stage. When the "root" cause of the issues, the primal memory is transformed the issue itself will then be finally healed and transformed forever.

Such records come not only from the moment we were born, but also in the womb and past lives. Regression is generally known as a past life therapy because we have many past lives that determine our present life plan. According to this, we are born into this body, family, and life conditions and depending on the issue we want to resolve the root cause of the problem could be in one of these timelines. In this case it is necessary to revisit this place and time to transform the "root" experience. Sometimes it may be necessary to first release an issue from this lifetime before going deeper into a past life. Like peeling an onion, the upper layers should be peeled first before we can proceed to deeper layers, and sometimes clearing a layer can bring great healing to the whole situation. But usually when we remove the root of the problem it is then completely solved, but sometimes this may require a certain process or time. Many factors such as; the soul lessons the person has chosen in this lifetime, how ready they are, the level the person is at concerning the issue influence the results of the healing taking place.

This healing process can also be compared to cleaning a house. A first time healing experience would be like cleaning your house for the first time.

For an un-cleaned house it would be necessary to do a rough cleaning, to throw old staff out and as the house gets cleaner it is then possible to go into deeper corners and do a more in-depth cleaning of small details. Inner transformation is like cleaning of our inner house-inner self, the person may have worked on themselves with other healing techniques that would also have healed many layers and only one last work may be needed. Or if the person is having their first healing experience, the upper layers of the issue would need to transform before proceeding to deeper layers.

Transformation is a lifetime process, just as we don't say our house will never need a cleaning again, and we clean the house regularly like every week, or brush our teeth every day, or take a shower, transformation, healing and living with awareness needs to become a way of life.

The more frequently a house is cleaned, the less dirty it will become and will be much easier to clean. It is the same for our inner world. Many techniques can be used for transformation, meditation and living with awareness should become an important part of our life.

Regression is more like a large spring cleaning of the past, or we can may a soul surgery, healing toxic memory is like a cyst that needs to be removed. Or another example could be cleaning a garden full of weeds. If the weeds are only trimmed they will be grow again but when they are removed from its root, they are gone forever.

After the negative records, emotions, contracts, other and other influences are released; positive attributes of the light frequencies should then be replaced in their place. One of the most important stages of transformation and healing is this process. In the example of the garden and house; we have cleaned our house and the garden, what furniture we want to put in now, which plants, trees, flowers we want to grow, those seeds should be planted. Positive programing is indeed, like planting the seeds of a new tree that will give fruit in the future and shape the new reality of the person.

Regression therapy can be applied in different ways such as;

  • This lifetime
  • The Womb Regression
  • Past Life Regression
  • Progression - Visiting future realities

Depending on what issue the person is dealing with and where the healing needs to take place one or more of the above timelines could be visited.

Even in a single session, a miraculous healing can occur and sometimes a few sessions may be required. But it should not be forgotten that the transformation journey is a process that continues as long as we are in this world, and the work done with regression is only a stage on this path. The sessions last from 2 to 2.5 hours, the first hour is a pre-talk stage for determining the issue to be healed and an in-depth look at the person's life areas, while the regression therapy itself last about 1 hour, but can sometimes extend to 1 hour 15 minutes / 30 minutes.

At the end of the session, the person feels very relieved but sometimes slightly different than normal, may feel tired, some people feel very energetic. After the session it is very important to rest, to take time to integrate and sleep if needed.

It may take from a few days to a few weeks for the effects of the session to integrate.

During and after the integration process the person may feel serious differences, they may naturally feel and perceives differently or now the negative effect of the issue could feel very different. It's not about trying to feel in a certain way but when a certain situation just naturally feels different in a positive way that is the most important indication that the healing has occurred.

Sometimes unexpected "coincidences", encounters and surprise events happen.

Sometimes the person only feels just a little better.

Whatever is inside of us will appear as life outside.

Let us take a good look at the gardens within us, so that we can add wonderful seeds to manifest in our lives and the world.
